We consider the kitchen in relationship to the home as a whole. We carefully select finishes, fixtures, countertops, paint, lighting, furnishings and cabinetry.
As designers we have in-depth knowledge of building codes, and we work with architects and builders to keep your project running smoothly. We identify and resolve problems, minimizing the delays that can cause costs to escalate.
The sooner the better. A designer can help at any stage of the design process, however, the best results are experienced when the designer is involved in the process from the beginning.
Depending on the project we typically develop up to two design options. And allow one free design revision.
Yes! During the design process we will send you weekly project status updates. We also meet with you before the design presentation to make sure we’re on the same page. We’ll go over preliminary space plans and color scheme. Also, we encourage feedback throughout the process to make sure you’re happy with your design.
No. We will work with your builder, contractor or tradespeople. We are more than happy to refer you to those who can help as well. You will not pay us for construction related labor, that is between you and your contractor.
There are a few ways that we charge but our design fee will typically have a combination of a fixed fee and hourly estimates. After your design consultation we will give you the design fee for your project.
With our fixed fee you will know exactly how much your design will cost, no surprises.
50% deposit is required to start your design and the balance is due at the design presentation meeting.
You have the option to purchase specified items or we can purchase items for you. If you are purchasing items that are only available to the trade or custom, we will purchase the items for you.
